New Patients
At Matchborough Dental Practice we are inviting new NHS Patients to join our friendly family dental practice with a choice of NHS and private Dentistry, high quality routine and cosmetic dental treatments, a choice of payment options, flexible opening times and family appointments on request. Visiting us couldn’t be any easier.
As a new patient at Matchborough Dental Practice, the first appointment we would like to arrange for you is a New patient Examination. This will involve you completing a Medical History Form, followed by an Xray (if necessary) and a thorough examination of your gums and teeth. We will discuss any concerns you have and requirements you may have to make, from general oral dental care to referrals where we think necessary, under consultation to big improvements to your smile – we can do that too.
Due to restrictions we are accepting limited number of new patients.

If you are a registered patient with the practice and experience pain or discomfort during our normal practice opening hours Monday: 08:30 – 18:00 & Tuesday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00.
Closed every day between 13:00 and 14:00
Sat and Sun Closed please contact the practice on tel: 01527 523492 at the earliest convenience and we will try and see you as soon as possible.
Please inform the nurse/receptionist that you are in pain and need to be seen urgently. (Please note that this appointment is likely to be with the emergency/on call dentist and not necessarily with your usual dentist).
Emergency Dental Treatment
You may need urgent treatment if you have:
- Toothache or swelling that suggests an infection of a tooth or gum
- Severe toothache or facial pain which is not controlled by taking over-the-counter painkillers
- Trauma of the face, mouth or teeth after a recent accident or injury
- A permanent tooth being knocked out
- Bleeding after tooth extraction that you cannot control
- Serious swelling of the mouth or face which is getting worse
